Dolomite rock can be very useful in landscaping because it’s durable, attractive, and chemically beneficial to soil. Here are the main ways people use it:

Decorative gravel & ground cover - Crushed dolomite is often used as pathway material & garden bed cover

Soil amendment (raises pH) - Dolomite (especially powdered “dolomitic lime”) is used to neutralize acidic soil &
add calcium and magnesium nutrients.

Lawn care - Can improve grass growth in acidic soils & strengthen root systems with added minerals.

Drainage improvement - Dolomite gravel can be used in French drains, around foundations and under decks.

Note: Since dolomite raises PH in soil, use around acidic soil preferred plants is not recommended.
